Webinar series on wetland restoration
Wetland Restoration refers to the implementation of concrete actions for the recovery of wetlands towards a more natural state and is crucial to maintain critical wildlife habitat, help meet watershed goals and contribute to human well-being.

This series of webinars is focused on “wetland restoration”, including criteria for prioritizing and planning of interventions, monitoring and case studies. The series is divided into 4 webinars, with the involvement of 13 international experts involved through freely accessible recorded speeches.
The goal of this webinar series is to increase the know-how and the willingness to promote wetlands conservation and restoration in the context of a green economy by providing professionals and personnel of public bodies dealing with wetland restoration/conservation projects, and wetland managers from priority restoration sites around the Mediterranean region with current knowledge and real examples of hands-on best practices.
The event is organized by a joined efforts of partners implementing the themes M1 and M3 of the MAVA foundation strategy.

- Connect and build dialogues between the different local actors & sectors that take into account the needs and benefits for all.
- (Re-)Create a sustainable balance between human needs & natural resource availabilities in your country/region.
