Tools
In this section, we aim at collecting interactive tools to inform and support restoration planning in wetlands.
European Coastal Wetlands Interactive Platform
Access interactive tools and spatial data to understand, monitor and support the conservation of coastal wetlands across Europe. From continent-wide insights to in-depth data from our six pilot sites, the platform is the Restore4Cs hub for evidence-based decision-making and research.
ThIS interactive platform aims at being a long-term information hub for coastal wetlands, contributing to a better understanding of these ecosystems, complementing the information available for other wetland ecosystems (e.g. Global Mangrove Watch) and providing evidence-based decision-support for wetland managers and planners at different scales
European Wetlands Multi-Stakeholder Platform of the Horizon REWET project
The Wetlands Multi-Stakeholder Platform developed by the Horizon REWET project is a collaborative digital space dedicated to advancing wetland restoration and sustainable conservation in Europe. Currently, the platform functions as a structured database offering access to research, open data, and policy-relevant texts supporting the restoration of wetlands in Europe.
More specifically, this platform will allow you to:
- Access centralised data on wetlands from European, national and regional databases.
- Consult legal texts, policy briefs and best practices around wetlands from trusted sources.
- Read research papers, reports, and scientific publications on wetland restoration
- Discover associations, networks and other entities engaged in wetland conservation.
This Multi-Stakeholder platform has been conceived as a hub for collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and innovation in the restoration and sustainable conservation of terrestrial wetlands.
