Session for policy-makers and scientists – RESTORE4Cs Autumn Schools

As part of the RESTORE4Cs project, an autumn school hybrid event was held in Malaga, organized by the European Community of Practice for Wetland Restoration (Working Group on Wetland Restoration for Carbon Sequestration & GHG Mitigation), from the 4th to the 7th of November 2025. This event brought together scientists, decision-makers, and participants in the R4Cs project from around the Mediterranean, to explore how ecological restoration enhances the capacity of coastal wetlands to store carbon and mitigate greenhouse gas emissions.
